fluid Operations
Innovative technologies, research and passionate people that solve real-world challenges are core to fluid Operations™ (fluidOps™). Headquartered in Walldorf, Germany, fluidOps is a VC-backed, privately held company that provides leading technologies and concepts for data center, cloud and data management.
At fluid Operations we understand private cloud as a framework to deliver a higher level of abstraction on top of virtualized IT and data. We are witnessing the private cloud taking off quite rapidly and new models arising, for example customer-managed services in combination with customer self-services. With the eCloudManager™, fluid Operations delivers a platform for private and hybrid cloud enablement which ultimately brings business and IT together, and allows IT to deliver economic value-add to the business through speed, simplicity and self-responsibility.

eCloudManager™ Product Suite Overview The eCloudManager Product Suite provides a private cloud management platform spanning physical and virtual compute resources, enterprise storage sytsems, virtual desktops, network, and multi-tiered multi-VM application landscapes, ultimately delivering what a cloud needs – end to end IT as a Service. The eCloudManager allows customers to manage their private cloud from a single console while leveraging all previous hardware and software investments, and through self-services, self-responsibility and economic usage of IT resources it delivers a true IT as a Service platform which includes Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service, Landscape as a Service, Storage as a Service and Data as a Service. Based on an open platform which supports VMware, Xen, Hyper-V and KVM virtualization technologies, the eCloudManager also provides the needed foundation to utilize public cloud resources and leverage the concept of hybrid cloud environments. All in all, the eCloudManager delivers a solution which addresses issues that cannot be solved with virtualization only, such the missing interaction between business and IT or the gap between process cost and time to market. |
